Homage to Frida Kahlo

I did not dare to create this work until I learned about the life of Frida Kahlo. Understanding how she was able to transform suffering into a powerful form of artistic expression gave me the inspiration to pay tribute to her. This mannequin was created as an homage to a woman who lived with courage, embraced her identity, and found in art a language through which to express her truth. Her legacy continues to remind us that creativity can become one of the greatest expressions of resilience and freedom.
